Healing Within Reach
When it comes to mental health services, individual needs are as diverse as the people we serve. Since there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care, we work to fill the gaps between inpatient and outpatient settings with Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).
Along with state and county behavioral health providers, Wellpoint’s CCS team addresses the unique mental health needs of children and young adults up to age 22, in over 20 counties across Wisconsin.
Ongoing needs may include treatment for depression, generalized anxiety, stress caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, or substance abuse and addiction, just to name a few. We provide person-centered and developmentally informed services, including:
- Psychotherapy Services for individuals and families in the home or community setting
- Service Planning and Facilitation, including assisting youth, teachers and staff in a school setting
- Psychoeducation for individuals or families, including skills training, problem solving and guidance for managing mental and behavioral health needs in the home or classroom setting
- Individual Skill Development and Enhancement, including training in communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving, and self-regulation in home, school or community settings
The goal is to meet the rising demand for crisis mental health services before inpatient care is Wellpoint’s priority. We currently work with children and youth in these Wisconsin counties:
- Green Lake
- La Crosse
- St. Croix
